...and even the bad songs aint so bad.
so, i think its been established that i like to talk about music. i mean, i really like to talk about music. i also like to turn people on to new bands...if i like a band, i like to make sure everyone i know hears about them, and if i know we have a similar interest, ill be sure to keep you updated on what you need to know/hear from said band.
that being said, my favorite way to introduce people to new things is probably the oldest in the book...the mixtape. i guess these days its a mixdisk, but that doesnt have the same ring to it. id make mixtapes if i thought anyone out there had the ability to actually listen to the tape once it was finished...the purpose of this endeavor, afterall, is to get people to listen to new stuff.
i have a friend at work who, although he HATES my favorite band, has a fairly similar taste in music to mine. i kept telling him about stuff that i had just gotten into that i loved and thought that he'd love, and i realized the best way to share this stuff would be to, you guessed it, make him a cd.
so i figured since i spent all that time on it anyway, i might as well share it here, too, right?
